Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who became the nation's sweetheart following her win of the American Idol title in the first season of the show. This win catapulted Clarkson into notoriety and led to the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, and 'S Records. In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums. Three of which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely missed the coveted spot. She is considered one of greatest success American Idol artists. With her professional development it was evident that she experimented with new themes and styles of music. She often co-wrote songs with her husband to express her feelings. To acknowledge her talents and individuality, she has received lots of praise and accolades. In particular, she's won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. Music isn't the only thing she is involved in. She also appears in television and film. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with a number of charities.
