Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. She was born in South London. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mother is English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the academy, she performed in a number of stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe starred in the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular on the ABC drama series Revenge for two seasons. In May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the first season of the third. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was born into a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey during the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley could not walk but could dance. As a result, when she turned 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Ashley was a professional dancer in all the major divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in jazz, tap, ballet and pointe, as well as acrobatics. She was crowned the top individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
