Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as an actress, producer, writer/singer/director. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced the show, directed it and even starred in her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the daughter of a psychiatrist and a Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle is her elder sister, and is an artist. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue while growing as a child. Her mother is a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is too Jewish. Benson has appeared in numerous movies and TV series in the years since Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. Her talents as a writer have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy, after spending the time and effort to locate them, states there are around 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 working for their organization, the Scooby Gang. Slayer possibilities are being awakened after they've reached an suitable age. As an example, Soledad became a Slayer at the age of 16. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for the upcoming season of 10 Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious older-school witch.
