Kari Sam Wuhrer was born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her career as she was just a teen. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well her role as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born in Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her family has given her three brothers. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform. At the Wooster school at the age of thirteen, she began studying acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned professor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. She was born in Brookfield on April 28th, 1967. Kari was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari is the youngest of three kids.
